Since the end of 90s Giardini has been specializing in specific products intended for safety footwear. It is therefore able to offer a very wide range of items designed for this type of use. All materials have been certified according to the European Community standards EN ISO 20345: 2011 / EN ISO 20346: 2004 / EN ISO 20347: 2012. The very high technical characteristics place our products at the top of the market quality:

• Breathability
• Waterproofing, with treatments without PFOA / PFOS
• Washable at 30 60 90 also in an autoclave
• Special finishes for direct PU sole injection
• Flame retardant treatment
• Suitable for digital and high-frequency screen printing.

UPPER The materials for the upper stand out for the high mechanical and physical characteristics that guarantee performances well above the international standards for safety footwear. The range includes microfiber and coagulated polyurethane products. The thicknesses range from 1.6 to 2.2 mm with the wide availability of colors and textures. All materials can be S1 and/or S2 and are compatible with the direct injection processes of the polyurethane sole.           LINING The products for lining and upper reinforcement are all highly: breathable and absorbent, resistant to abrasion (dry and wet), and tearing.   Mycro hattı Microfibers with stunning technical characteristics. Since the 1990s, Giardini has developed the Mycro Line, becoming an important reference worldwide in this field. Mycro today represents the most advanced and performing material for technical / sports footwear, clothing, and leather goods. Some good reasons for choosing:

COATED MYCROFIBERS FOR SAFETY AND SPORT SYSTEM   Coated mycrofibers for safety and sport system   The products of the sport range have been developed following the continuous comparison with specialists in the cycle, motorcycle, football, trekking, outdoor and leisure sectors. This has led to the continuous improvement of the technical performance of the articles and research and development of innovative materials. The articles range from 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm thickness and are all characterized by Very high mechanical strength and on request water repellent treatment and breathable polyurethanes.
